Contacting the Newquay Bowen Clinic

Please read the privacy statement before giving any personal details to us.

It is advised not to write down any medical information via email due to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  If necessary please discuss via a phone call or in person.

Privacy Statement

~ Only the client’s name, email and phone numbers are kept on mobile devices for the sole purpose of contact by the Newquay Bowen Clinic & Yoga Studio.

~ No data is used in the realm of social media unless specifically allowed.

~ No medical records or personal information are kept on an electronic database but are recorded on paper and are filed in a lockable filing cabinet within the clinic.

~ Personal data may be archived after five years to a separate locked filing cabinet within the building.  Only Pam Luker has access to the filing cabinets.

~ Clients have the right to their personal file but files cannot be legally deleted until after a period of eight years.  All information is kept for a minimum period of eight years after which it may be destroyed by shredding or burning.

~ A parent or guardian must accompany children under 16 years of age at all times and will be required to fill in and sign any paperwork on their behalf.

~ Any referral to another therapist or medical professional will be discussed with each client.  Signed permission is required before any details are passed on.
